
The MUMAQ Foundation Auction is Back!
From November 13 to 23, 2025, the Benefit Auction returns for its 11th edition, in a hybrid format.
The online auction begins on November 13, 2025, open to the general public, collectors, and art enthusiasts. A selection of highlighted fine craft artworks will be exhibited at the Museum throughout the online event. You’ll be able to admire them in person and place your bids on-site.
CLOSING SOIRÉE AND LIVE AUCTION
The closing soirée will take place on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the MUMAQ (615 avenue Sainte-Croix, Saint-Laurent).
Guests will be welcomed with a glass of wine and invited to discover the artworks on display. The live auction will feature exclusive lots, followed by a networking cocktail.* Meet the artists in attendance — a unique opportunity to exchange with them and learn about their work before bidding on one of their creations!
*Wine included in the admission price. Cocktail bar available on site ($).
The live auction will showcase exclusive works from the world of Québec fine crafts, visual arts, and design.
Guests will have the chance to discover historic pieces and remarkable works by emerging artists.

HONORARY CO-CHAIRS
-Ms. Mariouche Gagné, the first woman and first craftsperson to serve as Executive Director of the Conseil des métiers d’art du Québec. An eco-entrepreneur since 1994, she is the founder of Harricana Écoluxe—a cult brand of creative upcycling—and co-owner of Canadian Hat 1918.
-Mr. Hugues Charbonneau, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Saint-Laurent–Mount Royal and that of Westmount. A seasoned professional in the garment manufacturing industry, he is currently President of YKK Canada and a member of the CTT Group Board of Directors, a leading organization in the textile industry. He also serves on the Vanier College Board of Directors.

As one of our most important fundraising initiatives, the auction enables the MUMAQ Foundation to raise funds in support of the Musée des métiers d’art du Québec (MUMAQ).
All proceeds from the auction go directly to the Museum, helping to sustain its programming, conservation, outreach, and educational activities – all for the benefit of its community of artists and the public.
