Spring Break at the Museum!
Join us at the Museum during spring break for a memorable week of adventure, discovery, and creativity! In collaboration with the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications and Monsieur André Albert Morin, member for the riding of Acadie, young visitors can take part in an exciting quest! Throughout the week, find clues, fill out your adventurer’s notebook, and help Nours find the secret object.
During spring break, admission to the museum and participation in all activities are free for families with the spring break cultural passport from Ville Saint-Laurent. For those who don’t have one, the regular admission price applies (always free for children six years old and under).

The MUMAQ continues to make the first Sunday of the month accessible to everyone! Despite the new reforms by the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications limiting free museum entry to those under 20 on the first Sunday of the month, the MUMAQ will stand firm and continue its cozy Sunday with a reduced price for all. Admission will be $5 for those 20 and older. See you soon at MUMAQ for a cozy Sunday at a reduced price!

How much does it cost to participate?
What happened to the free First Sunday of the Month? Why do I need to pay?
The MUMAQ – along with so many other museums across Québec – was only able to offer free admission on first Sundays thanks to financing from the provincial government for that purpose. Unfortunately, the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications decided in February 2025 to alter that financing, meaning we can no longer offer free admission to anyone aged 20 and over. This is certainly not ideal and the museal community of Québec is doing everything it can to appeal to the government to reverse this decision. We know our first Free Sundays are enjoyed by many in Ville Saint-Laurent and Montréal, and so we are committed to offering a reduced rate of $5 for visitors aged 20 and over.
Exciting creative workshops will still be offered monthly, along with our famous tea and cookies. We hope to see you again in March and beyond!
